Pavlov's Human

Today's funny exchange with a client.

Ms. Hopeful:  I've been meaning to ask you, do you give my dog a treat every time you brush her?

Me:  No.... sometimes we give them a treat when they are all done with their groom, but most of the time they don't eat them when they are back with us.

Mr. Told-ya-so:  See!! I knew it. 

Ms. Hopeful:  Well, every time I brush her she demands a treat, pushes at my hand and barks at me.  I thought you had trained her that way.

Mr. Told-ya-so:  That dog has her so trained!! You've heard of Pavlov's dog? Well, this is Pavlov's human!
